L5 Bibliography and In-text Citation


Strategies employed (including classroom differentiation)

1.Connect (Hook and Hold) (5 mins)
+ Recall the links learnt the previous week. Were those links a suitable way of representing data in our research? No

2.Acquire and Make meaning (Receive Knowledge and skills, and understanding learning outcomes) (40 mins)

+ Students must also learn how to cite their reference and write their bibliography page.
+ Students are asked to refer to the citation manager and learn how to cite references using the different sources.
+ For each group, using the 20 articles that they have chosen as their information source, use the citation machine to generate the proper way of referencing their work.

+ Post the citation and the bibliography page of the 20 entries. 
+ Demonstrate to students how to cite in the Literature Review (Or Introduction) paragraph and the Bibliography page using the dragonflies page:
+ Two examples are given in the ISS Blog page.

3.Transfer (Formative checks, reflections, etc.) (5 mins)
+ Remind students to start writing their Literature Review paragraph and the Bibliography page in their GPP.
